At Spotler, we work on innovative technologies that help our customers optimise their marketing tools. We are looking for an enthusiastic software developer intern to contribute to an exciting AI/UI project focused on recommending the best configurations for our applications. You'll help develop advanced AI-driven solutions and improve the user experience (UI), enabling users to get smarter, data-based suggestions while using our tools.

A configuration recommender might not sound exciting at first, but trust us — this is a seriously cool AI/UI project where you, as an intern, can really make an impact!

Spotler works with a wide range of customers and products. Each customer tries to configure their tools to get the most out of them, but where do you start? With all the available data from our customers, users, and external sources we can offer intelligent, data-driven suggestions.

Think of improving search results by refining synonyms in a search tool, or boosting email open rates by suggesting stronger subject lines. On a higher level, we might recommend: “Optimise your search function” or “Enhance your newsletter subject.”

Your challenge: help build a proof of concept (POC). This could focus on a single application or span multiple ones. There’s also a strong UI challenge: how do we present these suggestions within the application? Should they appear in a helpful pop-up, automatically while typing, or even when the user isn’t actively configuring anything?

In short: a challenging internship that combines AI, UX, and real-world impact. Sound like something for you?

🎯 What do you bring

• You are pursuing a higher education (HBO or university level) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• You have experience in programming, for example in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• You have an interest in or knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• You enjoy thinking about user experience (UX) and how smart suggestions can fit into an interface.
• You can work independently but also actively seek collaboration.
• You are not afraid to share ideas, ask questions, and make suggestions, your input truly matters.
