Are you ready to take your first steps in fashion merchandising and stock control? This is  your chance to become part of the dit bedrijf team. 

dit bedrijf is a bold and colourful fashion brand, proudly born and raised in  Amsterdam. We are known for our in-house designed prints, vivid colours, feminine  tailoring, and quirky details. We launch two collections a year, each made up of 5 chapters.  Our collections are sold through nearly 1,000 points of sale worldwide, in our own online  boutique, and in ten brand stores. Alongside our Amsterdam HQ, we also have offices and  showrooms in Munich and Antwerp.

Werkzaamheden

As our Merchandising Intern, you’ll support the Merchandise team in developing and  improving our stock management and logistics processes. You’ll analyse the performance of  both current and past collections, and help us find smart and creative ways to optimise  stock distribution across all our channels. 

You’ll play an active role in daily retail operations and help ensure inventory accuracy.  Additionally, you'll contribute to collection performance analyses and buying processes. The  internship is based at our HQ in Amsterdam, with the possibility to work from home on  occasion.

• Supporting with stock control tasks (e.g. cycle counts, backorder follow-ups, weekly  replenishment)
• Visualising inventory reports
• Assisting in creating commercial stock offers for overstock clients
• Analysing collection and product performance
• Conduct analyses that contribute to our collection build-ups, such as the mapping of  bestsellers across channels and analyzing performance of product categories and  collection chapters
• Assist in preparing presentations based on analyses
• Supporting with day-to-day merchandising / stock control operations

Gewenste profiel

• Enthusiasm for our brand, embracing our personal, positive, transparent and empowering values;
• You are following a relevant Bachelor / Master study (e.g AMFI, (International) Business Administration, Supply Chain Management);
• You are fluent in English and Dutch;
• You have an analytical and problem-solving driven mindset;
• You enjoy working as part of a creative and dynamic team
• You are a quick learner and feel comfortable working with new systems
• You have a good grasp of the basics in Microsoft Excel and are eager to grow your skills further.
• You are proactive, organised, and get things done with a positive attitude
• You are available at least 4 days a week to work as part of the team, for a minimum of 20 weeks
