Werkzaamheden

The role

Our ScaleUpPractice team has an internship opportunity for an ambitious student that is excited about entrepreneurship, (event)organisation, hospitality, and operations! Your role is to support on delivery of several dit bedrijf services as the ScaleUpBoard program, and scale-up venture support (for example the ScaleUpEnergy program, ScaleUpFood program, and ScanToPlan service).

You will be working with the COO to ensure that the programs and projects runs smoothly. Responsibilities include ensuring participants and greeted and feel welcome, the day runs smoothly, class materials are always ready, facilitators are prepared, and whatever else needs to happen to make these programs a success. 

This internship is a learning opportunity during which we will support you to work on your professional development. You will have the chance to be part of our international, dynamic, and smart team and take on responsibilities that will provide you with insight into our vibrant organization. You will also get great exposure to our community of entrepreneurs.

Gewenste profiel

What’s in your toolbox

·        You have excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English (and Dutch is a big plus)

·        Knowledgeable on the use of programs as word, powerpoint and excel;

·        Great event management skills;

·        Well-structured and well-organised

·        You are customer-oriented.

About you

·        You are service oriented (experience in hospitality is an advantage);

·        You are a young and ambitious student in e.g. fields of Hospitality, Communication, Organization, Event or Business management;

·        You are a natural-born communicator – you love people and engaging with them;

·        Teamwork is your middle name

·        You are ingenious and will be able to make the best out of your time and resources;

·        You think in opportunities
