We are looking for an intern for the commercial department of dit bedrijf to help on topics like sustainability & commercial performance analyses. Dit bedrijf is a company importing and producing exotic fruits (avocado & mango) mainly from Latin America and Africa that are distributed to some of the most recognized retail customers located all over Europe.

Werkzaamheden

We are looking for an intern for the commercial department of dit bedrijf. Dit bedrijf is a company importing and producing exotic fruits (avocado & mango) mainly from Latin America and Africa that are distributed to some of the most recognized retail customers located all over Europe.

The internship will leave plenty of possibilities to understand and analyze the economic, political, and sustainable challenges that we face in the fruit and vegetable sector. Part of your responsibilities will be to support the sales team in daily operations such as some administrative tasks related to sales activities, attend internal strategic meetings. In addition, you will be asked to prepare meetings or performance overviews for the different customers or markets that we have. Depending on your interests, you can conduct research on sustainability/carbon footprint/environmental challenges on this globally interconnected sector. This could also be executed for a university assignment and time will be given for you to work on this during the internship.

Gewenste profiel

You will bring: 

-          You are internationally oriented, and you are interested in how sustainability and climate impact is coming together in this sector.

-          You are eager to learn and take responsibility for the tasks that are assigned.

-          You are not afraid to show initiative or to share your opinion on certain topics.

-          You are fluent in English (fluent in other extra languages is a bonus!).
