At Technip Energies, we believe in a better tomorrow and we believe we can make tomorrow better. With approximately 15,000 talented women and men, we are a global and leading engineering and technology company, with a clear vision to accelerate the energy transition. Designing and delivering added value energy solutions is what we do.
We are looking for a People and Culture Intern to join our People and Culture Department in Zoetermeer.
Technip Benelux (TPB) develops high end solutions for the energy transition. By devising and engineering state of the art technology we play an active part in making the future happen! Our core business is the engineering and construction of ethylene cracking furnaces and hydrogen reformer furnaces.
The People and Culture department, consisting out 7 experts, is in charge of all the human resource related affairs in the organization. Our P&C team is the team that connects our engineering business, our people and our organizational culture and values together, locally and internationally. As People & Culture Intern you will be fully part of a team consisting out of 7 people.
We offer you the opportunity to support us in making improvement in our way of working. Currently we have identified 2 specific internship assignments for you to choose from.
1)Create specific People & Culture Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and a supporting Dashboard. In recent years we have noticed that data and the corresponding analytics are becoming more and more important for decision making. This data is key to how we as a department make decisions, but also the wider organisation relies on the data that we offer and present to make their decisions. We made a start in collecting this specific data in several dashboard, and now we would like to evaluate their impact and completeness.
In this internship you will be focussing on the following questions: which data/ data clusters are key for our business as well as for our function? Are we monitoring the right KPI’s and are we reporting on them in the most effective way? How can we further improve our data and reporting based on our current standards?
2: Map the ‘return of investment’ on our Learning & Development initiatives Given our unique position in our industry we classify ourselves as a knowledge intensive organization; we educate and train our employees to be one of the best in their field. In order to achieve this excellence learning and development of our employees or crucial for our success. These elements, however, require a certain investment in terms of financial resources and time. We would like to gain insight in how we can define these aspects and gain better understanding of their impact in this context.
In this internship you will focus on the following questions: How can we define the return on investment of costs and efforts spend? Which improvements can be made in our way of working to maximize our impact in the field of learning and development?
Next to focusing on the, by you, selected topic above, you will have an active role in organizing the daily affairs in the team, and learn the ins and outs of how the P&C team supports and services the organization. Under the supervision of the People & Culture Officers you will provide full support to the P&C Department and its related activities. You will get the chance to get an overview of all P&C’s daily affairs, supporting them hands on. You will, amongst others, create and update work instructions, workflows, and provide suggestions to improve our current ways of working.
Who are you?
As P&C intern you will be the jack of all trades for the team. You will recognize yourself in the following skills:
- Team Work: you actively and transparently work together with the team members and work toward the common team goal;
- Service Orientated: you want to investigate the needs and wishes of our business partners;
- Bachelor Studies: Currently you are busy with your Bachelors degree (HBO or WO) in human resources studies, or equivalent.
- Language comprehension: an excellent verbal and written command of the English (and preferably Dutch) language.
Wat bieden wij
We offer you not only an internship, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.
