PeerWorks helps non-profit organizations raise money and awareness through peer-to-peer fundraising events and programs. We create experiences that turn interested individuals into an involved network, building a passionate and dedicated fundraising community in the process.
A fundraising event program can only be successful and sustainable if it is built on a strong, stable foundation. Our non-profit clients need a complete strategy for building a proper event revenue model, positioning the event in the market, attracting and engaging a specific target audience and getting participants to be advocates and fundraise on their behalf.
We offer a wide range of consulting services, which we tailor to your specific needs--whether it’s helping you come up with a new event concept, optimize an existing one or develop a powerful community-driven “kom in actie” program.
PeerWorks brings 15 years of research, strategic planning, creative thinking and program development experience to help non-profits make the greatest impact.
We call our interns “gurus” because they are the “best of the best”...the star students...the experts in their particular field of study. And, while we have a lot to teach our Gurus about the peer-to-peer fundraising industry, we also know they can (and should!) teach us about all of the latest methodologies, tools and techniques which they’ve learned during their study and work experience thus far.
The position for Communications Guru requires someone that is truly passionate about changing the world using powerful messaging and storytelling across a variety of communication channels.
Our Communications Guru will contribute to consulting engagements with our non-profit clients when communication assessment, development or execution is needed.
Support from the Communications Guru will also be needed for our corporate marketing initiatives. We position ourselves as thought leaders in the non-profit sector specifically as peer-to-peer fundraising experts. The goal of our Communications Guru will be to manage and strengthen this position by writing on behalf of PeerWorks in industry forums, blogs, and social media.
Finally, we would like our Communications Guru to spearhead the development and execution of the first-ever Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Award Program in the Netherlands.
By the end of 2015, PeerWorks would like to recognize outstanding achievements and best practices of nonprofits in this industry. To do this we’d like to develop the firstever Peer-toPeer Fundraising Awards here in the Netherlands. We would like our Communications Guru to spearhead the development of this awards program. Specifically, theywill need to help us establish the brand, marketing plan, nomination process and selection criteria along with all of the communication elements and messages that will support it, including a dedicated website.
If completion of the work meets our high quality standards, our goal is to offer a full-time Communications position to the Guru, thus becoming a valuable member of our consulting team.
