The Region HQ Cost control team is looking for an internship who can support various cost control related operations.  Part of the scope of work can be to support on Manage. Beside the support on the daily cost control operations, we will provide the possibility to work on specific tasks/projects which are required from an educational side.

Purpose of the job

Samsung SDS Netherlands will provide you a dynamic role within a team. We have an open culture and communication, and are stimulating development of our people. As part of the Regional Cost Control Department, we offer our support to multiple countries within the EU-region (14) and can offer a variety in your work, both from a task perspective as from a country perspective.  

The Cost Control intern is part of the Settlement team located in Delft. The team is a mix of supply chain and financial experts working in different positions.

Daily Cost Control activities are:

• Maintain and conduct dashboard of AR/AP
• Ensure and support data integrity while settlement month-end closing
• Acquire settlement delay reasons
• Monitor progress of contract management
• Organize workforce data accuracy of European settlement teams for quarterly update
• Collaborate and communicate with contract management teams and intra-branches

Gewenste profiel

We are looking for candidate with:

• WO/HBO/MBO-level preferably with an education in the area of Finance/Supply Chain Management /Data Science
• Strong knowledge of data analytical skills (Power BI/ Excel Macros is highly preferred; SQL/ Python is plus)
• Familiarity of MS office needed
• Have strong communication skills
• Dutch and English language proficiency is required (Korean language is advantage)
