We are looking for an (MBO level) intern per September 2024!

Werkzaamheden

During this internship, you will support the IT System Administrators in a diversity of tasks and work with colleagues from all other teams.

Team activities are:

• Solve system and application issues and incidents, perform troubleshooting tasks.
• Identify and record incidents gathering all necessary information to understand and  register problems or requests.
• Handle daily system and application maintenance.
• Prepare hardware for use by (new) associates; handle access from users to the systems.
• Monitor the tickets mailbox (dit bedrijf ServiceNow), handling incoming incidents requests  and questions, providing (user) support in the office environment (desktops, laptops etc.)  and for systems and applications.
• Monitor the capacity and connectivity status.
• Are in daily/weekly contact with the dit bedrijf US IT team about issues.
• Enter EMEA issues, questions, and events into ServiceNow (IT self-service portal), assign to  the correct level of support.
• Handle application updates, security checks etc.
• (Remotely) assist company users with the use of applications such as Office365, Teams,  SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, RingCentral (telephony) etc.
• Understand the key role of the department and related sense of urgency; work well under  pressure and can conduct themselves accordingly. Demonstrate professionalism and remain  focused on the issue at hand.
• Provide follow-up for users with status updates and/or resolution/completion updates.
• Help the IT System Administrator with infrastructural changes.

Gewenste profiel

• Relevant MBO study in Informatica, working internship.
• Good (preferably business) level English (verbal/written), Dutch is helpful but not required.
• You work accurate and enjoy dealing with customers (the dit bedrijf team) and you can handle customer-facing situations in a patient manner.
• You know how to plan daily tasks.  
• Microsoft applications skills, system knowledge (for instance ERP) .
• ‘Can-do’ mentality.

• A hands-on and divers internship (for a minimum of 3 months, preferably more), working with IT team members as well as with other teams in the company.
• 37 – hour workweek (mostly at the office, working from home in agreement with supervisor).
