We are this company, a fast-growing and well-funded start-up developing smart lighting and building systems. We were founded 4 years ago with a mission to deliver smart building technology at a far lower cost-price by integrating all required technology in the lighting (see here for a summary of what we do). Since our start we have been moving very fast, having closed partnerships with multiple large global lighting companies, global leading smart building portal providers and a wide range of leading sensor providers.
Our technology is currently rolled out in for example the UMC-Utrecht \<…/umc-casestudy/> and other leading projects. We have been widely recognized in the global and national media and have been nominated for multiple global awards as a leading Proptech start-up.
Werkzaamheden
- We are open to form an interesting graduation research question/project around your interest, example of research questions would be:
- Identify potential specific customer/ecosystem partners for this company based on strategic market research and prove market interest by showing a lead funnel
- Trial and compare different customer acquisition strategies (outbound call agencies, traditional fairs, direct social media outreach, micro targeting on social) for specific target customer/partner segments.
- Developing new propositions for targeted new market segments and validating these in the market in key buyers
- Any research will include a component of direct customer/market interest to prove any hypothesis, we are not interested in desk based research only. People with fear of picking up the phone and calling are probably not in the right place.
Gewenste profiel
- We have definitely hit product market fit and we are rapidly growing our customer base. We therefore have some intern positions available for the next generation of sales talent looking to kickstart their career in B2B tech sales. What we are looking for:
- You love sales and want to build your career out of it, you are results and target driven
- You understand technology and have an affinity with it, we are looking for commercial animals not engineers, but are deep tech so you definitely need to have some basic understanding of what software is all about. Maybe you have had a stint at programming, but it was not your cup of tea or maybe you have done some coding as a hobby.
- We build strategic partnerships with our customers, we are not looking for the hit and run type, at the same time we require numbers to be hit, so we are not looking for years of strategic talks but no numbers on the tally.
- We love to see some entrepreneurship and go-getter evidence, especially were it involved getting resellers or partners to sell products on your behalf.
