dit bedrijf is a fast-scaling, pioneering company based in the heart of Amsterdam, dedicated to accelerating the renewable energy transition by developing and installing large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The highly motivated team is seeking a proactive Master’s student for the first half of 2026 to translate their ambitious sustainability goals into concrete, measurable actions. This unique internship offers the opportunity to apply analytical and strategic skills across real-world business challenges in areas like energy systems, nature impact, and supply chain management.
Werkzaamheden
- Comprehensive Footprint Assessment: Assess and calculate dit bedrijf’s carbon footprint (GHG emissions) and broader nature footprint, including material and water use, and impact on biodiversity across the value chain.
- Strategic Insights & Visualization: Analyze and visualize footprint data to specifically identify where dit bedrijf can drive positive impact and reduce negative impact.
- Industry Standard-Setting: Provide data-driven insights that will help dit bedrijf to establish the green standard in the BESS industry.
- ESG Implementation: Contribute directly to developing and implementing our ESG strategy for key suppliers and partners.
- Data Management & Reporting: Develop systems for sustainability data collection, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), synthesizing information for internal use.
- External Reporting: Support the preparation of materials and reports for external sustainability reporting, including initial project assessments focusing on key environmental and social metrics.
Gewenste profiel
- Study Field: Studying in a relevant field such as Sustainability Science, Industrial Ecology, Environmental Management, Engineering, or Business and Sustainability.
- Analysis: Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and visualize both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with (or interest to learn) Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methods and understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) concepts
- Soft Skills: Independent, proactive and comfortable engaging with your new colleagues
- Language: Excellent written and spoken English.
