About the role
dit bedrijf is a mental health coworking startup with 8 locations across the Netherlands and a new therapist platform, Carefinder, launching in early 2026. As our first intern, you’ll work directly alongside our lead designer, embedded in a small cross-functional team of product, tech, and marketing.

Werkzaamheden

What you will do You’ll support UX and visual design work across both product lines: the coworking and Carefinder platform. This includes UI/UX design, marketing assets, print and whatever design challenges come up.

What we’re looking for

• A strong eye for design - whether that came from a design degree or elsewhere. We’re looking for taste, curiosity, and a willingness to learn rather than specific credentials.
• Good Figma skills. We do most of our design in Figma, so you’ll need a solid working knowledge of it - auto layout, basic prototyping, that kind of thing.
• A hands-on mindset and willingness to learn by doing. Design is rarely perfect from the start, and iterative thinking is key.
• A portfolio with 2 projects you’re proud of that showcases the kind of work you want to do - quality over quantity. They can be from a job, school, or a side project. What matters most is that it’s work you’re proud of.
• Comfortable working in English. Dutch is a nice-to-have.
• A proactive communicator. You can explain why you made design decisions and speak up when something isn’t working.
• A collaborative attitude - you enjoy working with others and thrive in a team environment.

Gewenste profiel

A couple of nice to haves

• Basic skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, Jitter or After Effects
• Some experience with AI image and video generation tools (such as Midjourney, Kling, etc.)
• Knowledge of print design

As your day-to-day design lead, I’ll give you structured feedback on your work, walk you through real design decisions as they happen, and make sure you leave with a stronger portfolio and a clearer sense of where you want to go (that is if you don’t want to stay with us).

You’ll have autonomy within a supported environment, you’ll be trusted to own work, but never left to figure things out alone.

We’re also in a fairly unique position in that our company incorporates many types of design: UX and UI, print, and spatial. This means you’ll have the opportunity to try out different types of projects or focus more closely on one area. Let’s work together to make a plan for your growth.
