High-growth startup looking for a sales intern to help build the future of B2B Commerce.

What we are looking for:

dit bedrijf is seeking a Sales intern to join our team in Amsterdam. We are looking for a student that loves to connect with people. You are a commercial goal-getter that wants to learn all about digital marketplaces and retail trends. This job will kickstart your potential sales career.

Werkzaamheden

Working in Retail Sales you will:

  • Call and connect with our active and inactive retailers.

  • Assist them in their buying needs and you will activate them by keeping them up to date about the latest brands to our marketplace while guiding our customers through our marketplace.

  • Monitor the content of our brands to make sure they present themselves top notch.

  • Partner with customers to make sure that you can create a win-win. 

Working in Brand Sales you will:

  • Generate leads - curate and find the right leads (high-value brands) for our brand partnership managers (BPMs), know our catalog base inside out and find gaps we need to fill in our assortment. Work with marketing to drive content for inbound and outbound sales initiatives.

  • Qualify leads - prepare leads so that they are correctly prioritised in our CRM: cleaning, scoring and routing leads in the most efficient way to optimise the sales process.

  • Reach out - reach out to qualified leads to answer questions and prepare them for the next step of the sales funnel. You’ll be the first point of contact in the company - a major responsibility!

  • Ensure hygiene - making sure brands offer good margins and have their full collection on dit bedrijf. Explain them our guidelines for success.

  • Support the sales process - answer questions from interested brands, collaborate with BPM’s on optimising the funnel. Prep to close the brands.

  • Manage referrals - work with top of the funnel brands that are referred by our high-quality retailers and optimise the process.

  • Work on special projects to grow your skills and prepare yourself for your next gig in sales or other opportunities within our company.

Gewenste profiel

Requirements:

  • HBO/Academic thinking level;

  • Hands-on mentality;

  • You love to connect with customers;

  • Great time management & organisational skills;

  • You understand Dutch & English.
