This company is developing a breakthrough breath diagnostics tool for the analysis of disease biomarkers. Our mission is to positively impact the health of millions by providing accurate, non-invasive, and affordable technology for early detection of health issues, breath by breath.

We are currently looking for a exceptional candidate with knowledge of data science and Python programming to strengthen our R\&D team.

Werkzaamheden

The intern(s) filling this position will oversee the journaling, processing, and analysis of the experimental data gathered by our groundbreaking device, in preparation for clinical trials. The main goal is to provide support to the product development team by:

• Writing Python scripts to facilitate data visualization and characterize the system's performance

• Improving and automating the data pipeline

• Assessing the system’s performance throughout the development process

• Providing input on the feasibility and practicality of ideas from the R\&D team or relevant company stakeholders

Gewenste profiel

• Currently studying or recently graduated from a relevant field like computer science, computer engineering, physics, or data analytics. A pertinent HBO with relevant experience could also be accepted

• Experience with Python, more specifically with the Pandas and NumPy libraries

• Basic understanding of data architecture, e.g., data model comprehension, data storage, and data pipelines

• Curiosity. Ability to consistently strive to better understand how the data was collected and what insights it might contain.

• Written and oral fluency in English

• Ability to keep the overview and to prioritize incoming workflow accordingly
