This company is a newly developing marketplace for restaurants and local food businesses. We are building a platform that connects customers with restaurants, takeaways and markets while helping local businesses grow through technology, marketing and community engagement.

We are looking for a proactive Marketing Intern who wants more than a traditional desk internship. You will work closely with our team, restaurant owners, partners and other stakeholders, helping shape the marketing of a growing platform from an early stage.

Werkzaamheden

You will help develop and execute this company’s marketing activities across both online and offline channels. Your work may include managing and creating campaigns for Meta and TikTok Ads, producing social media content, visiting restaurants and other partners, speaking directly with business owners, supporting promotional campaigns and helping create photo and video content.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in local community and impact-driven initiatives in Enschede, including charity-related events supported in cooperation with the gemeente. Because this company is still developing, you will be able to contribute ideas, test new concepts and see the direct impact of your work.

Gewenste profiel

We are looking for someone studying Marketing, Communication, Creative Business, Commercial Economics, International Business or a related programme at MBO 4, HBO or university level.

You are comfortable communicating with different types of people, including restaurant owners and external stakeholders. You have an interest in social media, digital advertising and content creation, and you are willing to learn how platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads work.

Experience with photography, video editing, Canva, Adobe tools, social media management or paid advertising is a plus, but not required. More importantly, you are proactive, creative, reliable and comfortable taking initiative.

Dutch and/or English communication skills are important. Additional languages are a plus because we work with a diverse group of entrepreneurs.
